Judy Ann Rogers, 79, of Enville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, Sept. 2, at her home. She was born in Milledgeville, Tennessee, on Sept. 9, 1942, the daughter of the late Herman D. and Sara Frances Rainey Pusser. She was a 1960 graduate of Milledgeville High School.

She married Jack Rogers on Dec. 9, 1961, and they made their home in Enville. When Mr. Rogers died in June 2022, they had been married for 60 years.

Mrs. Rogers was primarily a wife and stay at home mother , but she had also worked at HIS Sportswear in Saltillo, Tennessee, and as a nurse’s aide at Adamsville Nursing Home.

She and her husband also owned and operated a grocery store called J & J Grocery and Grill in Milledgeville for several years.

She is survived by a son, Michael Rogers of Milledgeville; daughter, Tina Burke (Russ) of Enville; five grandchildren, Jessica Sweat (Shawn), Mitchell McKenzie (Alisha), Felicia Rogers, Chelsea Armstrong (Warren) and Bianca Boleyn; and eleven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Lexie, London, Auri, Bella, Nova, Collyn, Jayce, Jayden, Willow and Anthony.

In addition to her parents and husband; she was preceded in death by two sons, Anthony Rogers and Steven Rogers; a brother, Ray Pusser; and sister, Edna Faye Cromwell.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Henderson, in Crook Avenue Chapel, with Gene Hanna officiating. Burial followed at Milledgeville Cemetery.
