Junior Shook (8-15-22) service 8-17-22

Junior Shook, 71, of Michie, passed away on Monday, Aug. 15. He is the son of the late James Finley and Mavis Louise McKee Shook.

He was united in marriage to Mary Jane Hindman, who survives.

Mr. Shook honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1970 until 1971. He was later employed doing maintenance at Shiloh Ridge Golf Course for 20 years. He was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church in Shiloh.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Shook of Michie; son, James Steed Shook of Michie; sisters, Kathy Wallace and Sherry Freeno, both of Iuka, Mississippi; and one granddaughter.

In addition to his parents, Junior was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mark McKee, Nettie McKee, Bolivar Shook and Lillian Shook.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Pisgah Cemetery in Shiloh, with Rick Pinkston officiating.
