Kathy Sowder Handley, 67, of Morris Chapel, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, the daughter of the late James Raymond (J.R.) Sowder and Hazel Overbay Sowder Edwards.
Ms. Handley was a member of First Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. She retired from Praxis Industries where she worked in customer service.
She is survived by her sons, Daniel Handley of Mobile, Alabama, and Scottie Handley of Savannah; brother, Ricky Sowder of Counce, Tennessee; and five grandchildren.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, June 3, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, with Michael Gibbs officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Savannah.
