Leonard Mountjoy (2-21-23) service 2-25-23

Leonard Lee Mountjoy, 59, of Savannah, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 21, in Jackson, Tennessee. He was born on Aug. 26, 1963, in San Bernadino, California, the son of the late George King and Connie Lishka Mountjoy.

On Jan. 27, 2005, he was united in marriage to Amanda Lynn Gooch Mountjoy, who survives.

Mr. Mountjoy was a stay-at-home dad. He loved taking care of his wife and kids and helping his friends. He never met a stranger.

He is survived by his wife, Amanda Lynn Gooch Mountjoy of Savannah; daughters, Tiffany Ann Mountjoy and Kalee Grace Mountjoy, both of Savannah; and brothers, George Rex Mountjoy and Tony Mountjoy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tracy Mountjoy.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, Feb. 25, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah. Burial followed at Morris Chapel Cemetery in Morris Chapel.
