Linda Faye Franks Falls, 73, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Monday, Aug. 22, at her home, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on June 30, 1949 in Savannah, Tennessee, the youngest daughter of late Hanley Franks and Mary Massey Franks.

After living in several Tennessee towns, Ms. Falls moved to Gainesville, Georgia, in 1979, where she raised her two sons.  In 2001, she  retired from the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company where she worked in the human resources department for 18 years.  After a few years of retirement, she returned to work as one of the beautiful smiling faces at the front desk of Oakwood Smiles until 2022.

She is survived by her brother, Tommy Jack Franks of Savannah; her sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Herbert Perry of Savannah, Tennessee; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Falls and Malou Davis of Hutto, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Rona Falls of Gainesville, Georgia; grandchildren, Ashley De Guzman and Lizzy Falls; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Franks.

A celebration of life service was held on Friday, Aug. 26, at Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home in Gainesville, Georgia, with Dr. June Fowler officiating. The family received friends Thursday, Aug. 25., at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
