Lois Yancey Stricklin, 95, of Pembroke, Kentucky, formerly of Savannah, passed away on Friday, May 5, at her daughter’s home of natural causes. She is the daughter of the late Louis and Alma Curry Yancey.

Mrs. Stricklin worked at International Shoe Company, was a homemaker, a member of Lester Memorial Presbyterian Church and West Fork Homemakers Club. She held office for Woodmen Life Lodge 5 and volunteered at Trail of Tears Heritage Center, Community Reader Day, and Pembroke Library.

She is survived by her sons, Ron Stricklin and David Stricklin; daughters, Patricia Thomas and Pam Roberson; six grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Stricklin; sisters, Curleene Toby and Nancey Vinson.

Memorial services were held on Thursday, May 11, at Maddax Funeral Home in Pembroke, Kentucky. Burial followed in Rosedale Cemetery.
