Louise Kilburn (5-14-23) service 5-17-23

Louise Smith Kilburn, 75, of Adamsville, passed away on Sunday, May 14, in Savannah, the daughter of the late Jessie Floyd and Minnie Lou Wilson Smith.

She was united in marriage to Miley Kilburn Jr., who preceded her death.

Mrs. Kilburn was a homemaker and a member of Solitude Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Durbin of Adamsville, and Dennis Hatch of Finger, Tennessee; stepchildren, Freddy Kilburn and Danny Kilburn, both of Adamsville, Tim Kilburn and Lisa Kilburn Hudson, both of Savannah; four grandchildren, seven step grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and six step great-grandchildren; and sister, Bessie Britton of Stantonville.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Penni Marlar; sister, Mollie “Lorene” Gray; and brothers, Ricky, Preston, Floyd, and Bill Smith.

Memorial services were held on Wednesday, May 17, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Adamsville, with Carlos Hughes officiating. Burial followed at Mars Hill Cemetery in Adamsville.
