Luanna Sykes, 67, of Savannah, passed away on Monday, July 17, in Florence, Alabama, the daughter of the late Ross Alva Bowland and Ljoy McKay.
She was united in marriage to Gary Bruce Sykes.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Gary Bruce Sykes of Savannah; daughter, Rachel Lynn Rops of Reedsburg, Wisconsin; son; Matthew Ray Sykes of Chicago, Illinois; four grandchildren; and sister, Judy Burnett of Mobile, Alabama.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Bowland and Ricky Bowland.
Memorial services were held on Tuesday, July 25, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, Tennessee.
