Mackie Easley

Mackie Helen Wilkerson Easley, 76, of Savannah, passed away on Friday, Nov. 4, in Jackson, Tennessee. She was born in Hardin County, on May 22, 1946, the daughter of the late Roy and Dovie Gammill Wilkerson.

In 1969 she was united in marriage to Leon Easley, who survives.

Mrs. Easley was a homemaker and a member of Holy Baptist Church in Savannah. She loved shopping, keeping house, spending time with her family and going to church.

In addition to her husband, Leon of Savannah, she is survived by one sister, Barbara Replogle of Savannah; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Dovie Wilkerson; son, Joel Michael Easley; and brother, Gene Calvin Wilkerson.

Services were held on Thursday, Nov. 10, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, with Charles Linam officiating. Burial followed at Memory Gardens in Savannah.
