Monroe Milburn Pevahouse, 87, of Decaturville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, Dec. 1st, at AHC Decatur County. Mr. Pevahouse was born Dec. 25, 1935, in Perry County and had worked in construction and farming all his life.

He is survived by two sons, Gary (Tracy) Pevahouse, of Decaturville and Terry (Shonda) Pevahouse, of Decaturville; two sisters, Ima Nell Howell, of Loretta and Mary (Joe) Beckham, of Lutts; two brothers, David Lee (Brenda) Pevahouse, of Adamsville; and Roy Daniel Pevahouse, of Clifton.

He is also survived by three grandchildren, Stephanie (Jason) Evans, of Sugar Tree, Codie (Vicki) Pevahouse, of Decaturville, and Shawn Douglas (Jodie) Pevahouse, of Decaturville; and five great-grandchildren, Madison, Bella and Eva Grace Evans, and Raelyn and Hudson Wayne Pevahouse.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Pevahouse; his parents, Forrest Lee and Mammie Pevahouse; and a brother, Johnny Robert Pevahouse.

Funeral Services for Mr. Pevahouse were held at Reed’s Chapel in Decaturville, with Don Franks officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
