Nick LoPorto, 57, of Savannah, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 19. He is the son of Gerald Edward and Mary Juanita Durbin LoPorto.

Mr. LoPorto honorably served his country in the United States Army National Guard. He worked for Savannah Fabricating for 28 years and was currently working as a project manager for Savannah Industrial Solutions. He was a member of Eureka United Methodist Church in Savannah, and Savannah Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his sons, Nicholas Andrew LoPorto and Devon Edward LoPorto, both of Savannah; daughters, Makayla Jewel Holt of McEwen, Tennessee and Reesi Lee LoPorto of Savannah; father, Gerald Edward LoPorto of Panama City, Panama; mother, Mary Juanita LoPorto of Savannah; sisters, Lisa Beck of Counce and Kim Stafford of Fayetteville, North Carolina; brother, Jay LoPorto of Roanoke, Alabama; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Wayne LoPorto.

Services were held on Monday Oct. 24, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Dennis Usner officiating. Burial followed at Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery in Shiloh.
