R D Cunningham, 89, of Savannah, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 10, in Adamsville. He was born on Nov. 30, 1933, in Hardin County, the son of the late Hershel and Octavia Turnbow Cunningham.

On Aug. 6, 1953, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Ann Cunningham, who survives.

Mr. Cunningham worked at Brown Shoe Company for seven years and later retired from Owen- Corning Fiberglass. He was a member of the Hardin County Co-Op. He was a farmer most of his life. He loved to go to yard sales and flea markets and enjoyed trading.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ann Cunningham, of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Myra Jones of Mckenzie, Tennessee; sons, Randy Cunningham (Donna) of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, and Mark Cunningham (LeighAnn) of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; a brother Harold Cunningham of Granger, Indiana; grandchildren, Desha Stiddom (Jeremiah), Anthony Jones, Haley Williams (Daniel), Kaley Cunningham, Devin Cunningham, Natalie Allen (Jeffrey), Hailey Jones, and Katelyn Jones; and great-grandchildren, McKenzie Williams, Eli Stiddom, and Mylie Stiddom.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, J W Cunningham; and grandchildren, Nathan Cunningham and Gregory Scott Plunk.
