Raymond Parker Butler, 93, of Adamsville, passed away on Monday, Dec. 26, in Corinth, Mississippi. He is the son of the late Fletcher Dewey and Tina Lillie Dunavant Butler.

Mr. Butler honorably served in the United States Marines from September 1951 to September 1953. He retired from being the owner and operator of Butler Bros. Exxon. He was a member of Adamsville Church of Christ and American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Dot T. Butler of Adamsville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Irene Nixon; and brothers, Marvin Butler, Holland Butler, Gene Butler and James Butler.

Services were held on Thursday, Dec. 29, at Adamsville Church Of Christ in Adamsville, with Van Vansandt officiating. Burial followed at Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery in Shiloh.
