Reba G. Reynolds, 84, of Decatur, Alabama, formerly of Savannah, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 26. She was born on Sept. 29, 1938, in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Horace and Irene Brewington Franks.

On Nov. 26, 1955, she was united in marriage to Frank Edward Reynolds, who preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 2017.

Reba retired from Hardin County Clerks office. She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church in Savannah. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilting. Reba loved traveling and going on cruises. Her cats, Buddy, Max and Momma Cat, were a special joy in her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Reynolds; sons, Ronald Reynolds (Pam) and Roger Reynolds (Julie); sister, Mary Tune; grandson, Will Thrasher (Rebecca); and great-grandchildren, Grant Thrasher and Lauren Thrasher.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ella Whitt; and brothers; Leon Franks, Gene Franks, and Horace Franks Jr.

Memorial services were held on Monday, Oct. 2, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Eric Smith officiating. Burial followed at Neill Cemetery in Savannah.
