Ronald C. Harris, 63, of Savannah, passed away at Jackson Madison County General Hospital on Monday, Feb. 27. He is the son of Claude and Betty Joe Harris.
Mr. Harris was a towboat operator.
He is survived by his daughter, Megan Forrester and husband Dylan; mother, Betty Joe Harris; three grandchildren; brothers, Stevie Harris and Donnie Harris; and sisters, Wanda Brumley and Mary Ann Lowe.
He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Harris; his brother, Robert Harris; and his sister, Melinda Deshazier.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
