Rose Lee Hardin, 85, of Memphis, formerly of Hardin County, passed away on Monday, July 17, at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, Tennessee, the daughter of the late James Elbert and Linnie Mae Pearson Bridges.

Mrs. Hardin was a 1956 graduate of Saltillo High School. She started her career at Sears in Memphis, and then worked for the city of Memphis for 28 years. She then worked as administrative assistant for UT Health Science Center before retiring full-time.

She is survived by a son, David Hardin of Finger; a daughter, Kathy Davis of Memphis; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, James Edward Bridges of Sardis, and a sister, Robbie Bridges Powell of Memphis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Detrois Bridges, Fay Bridges and Ray Bridges; and five sisters, Juanita Green, Opal Williams, Virginia Bridges, Betty Mulhearn and Linda Bridges.

Funeral services were held on Friday, July 21, at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Crook Avenue , Henderson, and burial followed at Milledgeville Cemetery.
