Rosie Gray (3-1-23) service 3-5-23

Rosie Gray, 68, of Savannah, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, the daughter of the late Watt Miller and Marie Melson Shubert.

She was united in marriage to Wayne Gray, who preceded his wife in death.

Mrs. Gray worked at various garment factories as a machine operator.

She is survived by her daughters, Nona Wesson of Franklin, Tennessee, and Norma Williams of Lexington, Tennessee; brother, Arthur Miller Savannah; sister, Dianne Bays of North Charleston, South Carolina; three grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kirsten Leigh White; brothers, Jerry Miller, Earl Miller, Alton Lee Miller and Lonnie Miller; sister, Joan Ayers; and an infant sister.

Memorial services were held on Sunday, March 5, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, with Michael Gibbs officiating. Burial followed at Wesley’s Chapel Church Cemetery in Savannah.
