Thomas Russell (12-8-22) service 12-15-22

Thomas Jerrolds Russell, 65, of Savannah, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 8. He is the son of Amelia Jerrolds Russell and the late James Russell.

He was united in marriage to Janet Carol Ferrell Russell, who preceded her husband in death.

Mr. Russell worked for Clifton Utility Department in Clifton, for over 20 years where he was the superintendent of gas and utilities. He was a member of Spirit and Truth Sanctuary in Adamsville, and the Sons of Confederate Soldiers.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Russell of Savannah; son, Thomas Russell of Savannah; mother, Amelia Jerrolds Russell of Savannah; and two grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and father, Thomas was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Russell.

Services will be held today, Thursday, Dec. 15, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Robert Howse officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Savannah.
