T.J. Alexander (12-11-22) service 12-14-22

T.J. Alexander, 83, of Savannah, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 11. He is the son of the late Tommy Gray Alexander and Ruby Joe Webb Alexander. He was united in marriage to Madlyn Carroll Byrd, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Alexander was a truck driver for Hassell Oil Company. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge of Savannah, and a Shriner.

He is survived by his children, Cindy Alexander-Tucker of Savannah, Craig Alexander of Del Rio, Texas, and Chris Alexander; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Joe Alexander; brother, Herman Webb; and grandson, Justin Tucker.

Services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 14, at Hopewell Baptist Church in Savannah, with Randy Isbell and Carter Carroll officiating. Burial followed at Memory Gardens in Savannah.
