Travis Burks (7-30-23) service 8-3-23

Travis Devon Burks, 70, of Savannah, passed away on Sunday, July 30, the son of the late William Sid and Frances Virginia Harville Harmon.

He was united in marriage to Linda Janelle Pickens, who survives.

Mr. Burks retired from Brown Shoe Company after 22 years as an assistant supervisor. He was a member of Turkey Creek Union Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Richard Dean Burks and Christopher Scott Burks, both of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Don Harmon and Ebb Harmon both of Savannah, and two grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Burks and Oscar Neal Burks.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 3, 11:30 a.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah. Burial will follow at Old Aenon Cemetery in Savannah.
