Vera Tyler, 88, of Adamsville, passed away on Monday, July 31, in Savannah, the daughter of the late Bernard and Lucile Schlatter.
Mrs. Tyler retired from the Illinois Department of Family Services. She was a member of Crump Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters; Annette Peugh of Morton, Illinois , and Janine Chasco of Marquette Heights, Illinois; son, Mark Tyler of Collinsville, Illinois; brothers, Roger and Ed; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Donald Tyler; three brothers; and one grandchild.
A graveside was held at Crump Cemetery on Monday Aug. 7, with Jon Haimes officiating.
