Virgie Lute (1-4-23) service 1-9-23

Virgie Frances Lute, 91, of Finger, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 4, the daughter of the late Virgil Van Brown and Uda Frances Hogue Brown. She was united in marriage to Harold Gail Lute, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Lute Johnson of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; two sons, Harold Van Lute and Randy David Lute both of Finger, Tennessee; a sister, Sue Goff of Clarksville, Tennessee; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; three great- great grandchildren and two on the way.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Bettye Curtright; and two brothers, Wayne and Jackie Brown.

Services were held on Monday, Jan. 9, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer, with David Paseur officiating. Burial followed at Lake Hill Memorial Gardens in Bethel Springs, Tennessee.
