William “Bill” Branum, 88, of Iuka, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 8. He was a former resident of Hardin County and is the son of the late George and Lucille Branum.
Mr. Branum enjoyed hunting, fishing, his game roosters and dancing.
He is survived by his sons, William Branum, David Williams; daughter, Peggy Whitfield; grandchildren, Shawn, Deana, Marleana, Clint, Jennifer and Kristi; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Lee Hammock; and brother, Ronnie Branum.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jesse Thompson; grandson, Brian Whitfield; granddaughter, Kistina Branum; two brothers and two sisters.
He had a special friend, Kay Black that passed away with him.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
