William C. McClelland, 65, of Savannah, passed way on Friday, Aug. 12. He was born on Nov. 6, 1956 in Union Station, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Virginia McClelland Middleton.

On Aug. 7, 1992, he was united in marriage to Dawn Ann Spisak, who survives.

Mr. McClelland honorably served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a heat technician for Team Industrial Services. William was always keeping himself busy and enjoyed working and going camping. Most of all, he loved spending as much time as he could with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn Ann McClelland of Savannah; sons, Daniel McClelland of Savannah, and Anthony McClelland and his wife Kristinia of Clifton, Tennessee; daughter, Melissa McClelland Burns and her husband Quentin of Savannah; brothers, Timothy Tichnor, Roger Baker (Liz Willis) and Kevin Baker and his wife Angie, all of Savannah; sisters, Deborah Baker of Savannah, and Bonnie Cozad of Philippi, West Virginia; and grandchildren, Adrianna McClelland of Michie, Skylar McClelland of Michie, and Tristan Burns of Savannah.

In addition to his mother, William was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Joe Baker; and sister-in-law, Jane Baker.
