William Phillips (1-7-23) no service

William Bert Phillips, 78, of Savannah, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 7, at his home. He was the son of the late Boyce and Carrie Belle (Cook) Phillips.

He is survived by his wife, Belle Lynch Phillips; sons, William Andrew of Cosby, Tennessee, Christopher Hugh of Nashville; Colin Bert Phillips of Savannah; a very special lady Amy, who came into his and his wife’s life 21 years ago and became a daughter to them; brothers, Jim (Jane) Phillips of Knoxville, Tennessee, Ray (Janet) Phillips of Savannah, Tom (Mary Ellen) Phillips of Milan, Tennessee; John (Melodie) Phillips of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Joy Phillips Routt; grandchildren, Alec and Baily of Michie, Tennessee, and Jared Christopher of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Words cannot express what a great husband, father, grandfather and friend to all he was.
