Wilma Highland Linville, 89, of Savannah passed away on Monday, Jan. 2, the daughter of the late Amie Coburn and Lilly Mae English Highland.

She was united in marriage to Hugh Lawson Linville, who preceded her in death..

Mrs. Linville was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Harbert Hills Nursing Home. She was a member of Saltillo Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by her sons, David Wayne Linville, Ronnie Lee Linville and Douglas Edward Linville, all of Savannah; sisters, Frankie White of Elsberry, Missouri, Dee Dee Connell of Imperial, Missouri, and Nell Benson of Savannah; 13 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Esterlee Bosley; brother, Colby Highland; grandchildren, Vivian Linville Singleton and Atosha Warwick; and great-grandchild, Felix Melson.

Memorial services were held on Thursday, Jan. 5, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Tony Roach and Nathan Reaves officiating. Burial followed at Neill Cemetery in Savannah.
