Wilma “Lou” Harmon Riddle, 90, of Savannah, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 14. She was born on March 19, 1932, in Savannah, the daughter of the late Arch Lee and Bernice Wilma Scott Harmon.

Ms. Riddle was a member of Savannah Church of Christ, a Union Representative for Bell South, and a lifetime member of Telephone Pioneers of America (a volunteer network.) Prior to moving back to Savannah in 1973, she lived in Miami, Florida, from 1959-1972 and Memphis, Tennessee, from 1972-1973. She worked for Bell South/AT&T from 1960-1995 and for Hardin County Bank in Savannah from 1998-2008.

Her daughters described their mother as a faithful, Christian lady who put God first in raising her three girls by herself. She was a caregiver for everyone and always saw the good in all. She put all of her daughters through college and always provided for them as best as she could.

She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Prater, Sherry Riddle and Margie Cox, all of Savannah; grandson, Nick Prater and his wife Chelsea; granddaughter, Jaime Wilkerson and her husband Jamie; and great-grandchildren, Henry Prater, Ruby Prater, Ivy Prater, Natalee Wilkerson and Maci Wilkerson.

In addition to her parents, Lou was preceded in death by her brothers, Archie Ray Harmon and Coy Clellan Harmon.

Services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at Savannah Church of Christ in Savannah, with Barry Binion, David Baker and Nick Prater officiating. Burial followed at Memory Gardens in Savannah.
