Wynequa Cherry, 24, of Memphis, formerly of Savannah, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 3. She is the daughter of Victor Wayne and Wanda Ann Witherspoon Cherry.
In addition to her parents; she is survived by her grandmother, Bessie Witherspoon; siblings, Marcus Cherry, Shelia Cherry, Nicole Pride, Evelyn Pride, Kimberly Davis, Ollisa Pruyear, Ollie Pride, Darretca Pride, Darius Pride, and De’Vante Pride; and birth mother, Brenda Phillips (Franklin).
Services were held on Monday, Nov. 7, at Cypress Creek First Baptist Church in Selmer, with Clifford Wynn, Jr. officiating.
